"Big B lived here with his parents before moving to Mumbai. This two-storey residence is said to be the first home of the Bachchan family." According to ET, when Harivansh Rai Bachchan stayed there, he used to host poetry sessions at 'Sopan' till 1980.

According to reports, the registry of this property has been done on December 7, 2021, although the reason for selling it has not been revealed. While it is being said that Amitabh Bachchan was very much attached to this house. This bungalow was named after Teji Bachchan. Teji Bachchan, who was also a freelance generalist, was also a member of Gulmohar Park Housing Society.
