Amitabh Bachchan sold his Delhi ancestral bungalow 'Sopan', a deal done for so many crores: New Delhi, Jnn. Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan is often in news about his property. Now news is coming that recently he has sold his ancestral house located in Gulmohar Park area of Delhi. Big B lived in this house with his father, father Harivansh Rai Bachchan, mother Teji Bachchan and brother Ajitabh Bachchan before shifting to Mumbai. But now Amitabh Bachchan has sold his bungalow 'Sopan' for a hefty price.
According to the report of Times of India, Amitabh Bachchan's ladder has been bought by the CEO of Nejon Group of Companies, Avani Badar for 23 crores. It is said about Avni Badar that he has known the Bachchan family for decades and lives near this bungalow. This bungalow is spread over an area of 418.05 square meters. "Big B lived here with his parents before moving to Mumbai. This two-storey residence is said to be the first home of the Bachchan family." According to ET, when Harivansh Rai Bachchan stayed there, he used to host poetry sessions at 'Sopan' till 1980.

According to reports, the registry of this property has been done on December 7, 2021, although the reason for selling it has not been revealed. While it is being said that Amitabh Bachchan was very much attached to this house. This bungalow was named after Teji Bachchan. Teji Bachchan, who was also a freelance generalist, was also a member of Gulmohar Park Housing Society.
Amitabh Bachchan owns five spacious bungalows in Juhu area of Mumbai, namely - Janak, Jalsa, Pratiksha, Vatsa and Ammu. And last year, the veteran actor bought a luxurious new duplex in Andheri. This house, spread over 5184 square feet, was bought by Big B for 31 crores.
